Her interest in the traditional, tribal, and sacred aspects of dance led her to explore many diverse types of dance, among which the tribal dances of the Maori, the classic and traditional dance of India, and the dances of the Native Americans. She deepened her understanding of the dances of the Rrom of Europe, Central Asia, Egypt, and Turkey, and of the dances of the nomadic populations of Northern India with Simona Jovic, as well as the Duende dance with Myriam Szabo.
Erika dedicated herself with passion to the style of ATS®, studying lwith Carolena Nericcio and Megha Gavin, and being granted official teacher’s certification in the style. She became the first Sister Studio of FatChanceBellyDance® in Italy.
She also practices and teaches Tribal Fusion, having studied abroad and in her home country with Tribal Fusion artists of international renown such as Rachel Brice and Mardi Love.
She keeps travelling and studying to constantly expand her mastery of the style.
